  • Vote your ballot on site
  • Drop off your City of Ann Arbor absentee ballot at an official dropbox
  • Ask questions to the UMICH Votes Fellows on site

I plan to vote elsewhere. What can I do at the Campus Voting Hubs?
  • Find registration and voting resources
  • Ask questions to the UMICH Votes Fellows on site
  • Make a button at the button making cart!
What if I’m not eligible to vote?

Even though you’re not eligible to vote, we hope you’ll still visit the Hubs to learn about the process, support your friends, and make your own button at the button making cart!

How exactly does voting work at the Campus Voting Hubs?

If you're eligible to vote and your local address is in the City of Ann Arbor, you can register and vote at either Voting Hub.

You can also pick up a City of Ann Arbor absentee ballot and either vote it on site or take it home to vote and then return it. Be sure to return it to the City of Ann Arbor Ballot Drop Box on site by 8pm on Election Day.

Starting October 24th, you can take advantage of Michigan’s 9 Days of Early Voting! Early Voting allows a voter to cast and count a ballot before Election Day. You insert your completed ballot into a tabulator just like at a polling place on Election Day!

What do I need to bring?

An official photo ID, such as your MCard, Michigan Driver’s License (or any State ID). If you are registering within 14 days of the election, you’ll also need to provide proof of residency.

Who are the UMICH Votes Fellows?

The Fellows are peer mentors from across campus who are trained and ready to provide non-partisan resources and information about registration and voting. They can also help you make your own voting button!

These don’t look like your typical voting spaces. What’s the story?

True! The Campus Voting Hubs are designed by the Creative Campus Voting Project, in partnership with the City of Ann Arbor Clerk’s Office, UMMA, the Duderstadt Center Gallery, and the UMICH Votes Coalition. You can read more about the Creative Campus Voting Project here.
